LU-VE Expands in Jacksonville, Texas, with New Heat Exchanger Facility

Jacksonville, Texas, is making waves in the international business community by announcing LU-VE Group’s expansion into the city.

LU-VE, an Italian multinational based in Uboldo near Milan, is a global leader in ventilated equipment and heat exchangers. With its recent acquisition of Alfa Laval's Air Heat Exchanger division, LU-VE is strengthening its position in the U.S. market—the world’s largest for heat exchangers.

The expansion project in Jacksonville is a direct response to the rapid growth of the American market. As part of a strategic initiative, LU-VE will construct a 25,000-square-meter facility at Zyklus, its Jacksonville-based subsidiary, located in the Norman Industrial Park. This development underscores Jacksonville’s growing role as a business-friendly hub for manufacturing and industrial innovation.

A Strategic Partnership with Jacksonville Economic Development Corporation

A key player in securing LU-VE’s expansion in Jacksonville is the Jacksonville Economic Development Corporation (JEDCO). Under the leadership of Economic Development Director Shane Pace, JEDCO successfully facilitated an attractive incentives package for LU-VE. The Jacksonville City Council unanimously approved the agreement, which includes 80,000 square meters of land at no cost and a long-term tax credit policy. In return, LU-VE has committed to creating at least 50 new jobs within four years of completing the construction.

Shane Pace expressed enthusiasm for the project, stating, “LU-VE’s investment in Jacksonville is a testament to the city’s economic potential. We are thrilled to welcome a globally recognized company that will not only bring new jobs but also enhance the industrial landscape of our community.”

A Multi-Million Dollar Investment in Growth

LU-VE’s investment in Jacksonville is estimated at €5 million (approximately $5.4 million USD) over the period of 2019 to 2021. This marks an important milestone in the company’s broader expansion strategy, which includes growth initiatives in China and Poland.

Matteo Liberali, CEO of LU-VE, highlighted the significance of this move, saying, “The American market is highly structured and presents a great opportunity for us to showcase our innovative technologies. The incentives offered by JEDCO made Jacksonville the ideal location for our expansion, and we are eager to contribute to the local economy.”

James Hubbard, President of JEDCO, echoed this sentiment, stating, “Jacksonville is extremely fortunate to welcome an enterprise with such an extensive international reach. LU-VE’s presence will foster significant economic and social benefits for our community.”

Jacksonville: A Hub for Industrial Growth

LU-VE’s decision to expand in Jacksonville demonstrates the city’s ability to attract high-profile international investment. With strong leadership from Shane Pace and the support of JEDCO, Jacksonville is positioning itself as a prime destination for businesses looking to establish and expand operations in the U.S.
